  • New battery - Gyro?

I took my 450SE out for some free flight today, and it was great! Started with my Kokam 2000 15C pack, which I have been using for a while. All was fine.

Landed after 7 minutes as usual, and replaced the battery with one of my new Revolution 2100 18C batteries that I got from Aurorra yesterday.

After taking off, I noticed the heli was yawing slowly to one side. I needed to add trim to my rudder. Strange. I also noticed the tail was wiggling a bit more than normal.

Is this due to more power in the new battery?

    Yes it is mate
You'll have a slight increase in headspeed so the gyro gain will need to be turned down a tad. This also causes the tail rotor to obviously increase in rpm's thus causing the slight yaw.
