    What have I got ?

    Hi, I was delighted to collect my new 600 CF yesterday but was confused and disappointed on opening the box to find a 600L motor. Both the AlignUK.com and AlignRC.tw web sites clearly show the carbon frame combo with a 600XL motor. No critisim of the retailer and he cannot do anything until Tuesday but I want open the kit and get building - now ! Can anyone out there please confirm what motor the 600 CF combo, part number KX016002TA, should come with.

    Hi Andy

    I didn't think any kit came with the XL motor as standard I did a search of the KX016002TA kit number, and all shops selling this listed it with the 600L motor

      I got teh same on e on Thursday and it came with the 600l motor
      Don't argue with idiot's on forums; people watching may not be able to tell the difference.

        Has it got 2mm frames?

        All the searches I did the 6002TA came with the standard 'L' motor,

          The standard kit is 2mm and comes with the 600L as standard-the XL being an upgrade- so far including today I've done 24 flights on the supplied motor-no worries

            My you guys are quick , thanks, still disappointed and don't get the anomaly between what is being sold in the UK and what the manufacturer's web site leads you to expect .

            Thomas, looking through the bag, yes I guess 2mm. Is that significant ?

              standard kit, does that mean there is another kit with better components available in the UK ? After all the research I did on the internet before I bought one, and the heart searching to decide between a 450 SEV2 and the 600, I going to feel a right tart !

                my metal frame kit came with the XL motor, but i think the kit may have came from taiwan if that makes any difference...

                  In the latest news on Skyline models website it shows that the next batch of 600s will have the XL motor - implying that current stock doesn't. As Skyline are now the UK Align importers I guess they should know

                    As far as I knew the stock frames are 1.5 - 1.7 mm and the upgraded ones are 2mm - there are some kits in the US being supplied with the XL motor and thicker frames + a couple of other upgrades.
                    Clones are bad

                      Gentlemen, thank you for all the responses, I now have the definitive answer and that is the 600CF does not currently include the 600XL motor. It will but not for now. I will take the opportunity to thank Kevin at Kev's Racing Bits for his help and Robbe for for his response, both are gentlemen and have my loyalty as a customer guaranteed.
