  • Belt replacement

    Hi Guys!

I have managed to replace my belt in my 450SE. Decided to test if it was all OK.. all seems OK, except, in HH mode on my gyro, the heli points the right way. In standard mode, it starts turning anti clockwise... the more throttle, the more the spin.

What do I need to do to get STD mode to stay straight? I assume it's because my rudder servo isn't in exactly the same place it was before... How do I get it exactly right again?

You need to move the rudder servo up or down the tail boom to get the heli to stop drifting out of heading hold.
It doesn't have to be perfect, but no drifting is better than some drifting.
    Cheers,

Right, thanks. Basically, move the servo, the est fly, then move the servo.. until it's right? No wy of telling while it's on the ground?

Not really. Remember, the heli just needs 1mm of air under neath it before this will happen. I would consider putting the training skids back on for the test, just in case.
I've got a perfect flying record - I've not left one up there yet!
