it will work but they arent very plesent to program and the case is very angular. pretty sure they arent full range either so wont do in the long term if you go bigger.
spend a bit extra and get a DX7

anybody can be an Arsehole, it takes real commitment, dedication and a whole lot of effort to be nice.
Thanks Ade, Will i have problems with glitches etc with my Futaba PCM 1024 RX on the trex? I only need the Spektrum for my Trex. The only reason I'm considering it is because of all the stories I've heard of glitches with it.
the futaba 146ip appears to have problems on electrics something to do with it being very narrow band or something
i never had any problems with the schulze/berg/hyperion DSP rx's

A option to the DX6 is the Futaba 6EX 2.4G radio, basically the same price and similar spec but is a full range radio, I have been using one in my 450SE V2 and 600E for a while now.
Very impressed with how it works although the actually tranny case is a little cheesy.
I always used a bog standard Dual conversion Hi-tec mini PPM receiver in my 450 with no glitches whatsoever.
Its down to good wiring layout and applying sense and logic when planning where to fit the electronics....Basically keep everything seperate & have the receiver as far away as possible form the motor/esc/
I've since gone PCM with my 600 but only cos I got a good deal on a JR 9CH unit
Cheers,
Gazza
