Most of the spares look very reasonable to me, cheaper than the Raptor anyway

Sure there will soon be cheaper after market frames, 1.6mm frames do seem a little thin, would prefer 2mm

If I break mine will probably go for G10 next, like the material, very robust and has more give than cf

Me too, parts seem cheap enough and many bits come as 2 items,if i broke the carbon frames i would also replace with G10,,personally i dont care much for carbon myself

If G10 is the stuff that my standard Airskipper frames and fins are made of, then yes I agree, it's much better than carbon - looks good, is lightweight and looks as though it would be less lethal in a bash, while being rigid and firm at the same time. The problem with carbon is that when it breaks, it's razor sharp, and tends to cut through other stuff like wires and things.

Carbon frames will always be expensive so thats why there is a G10 option

I personally dont think any of the Align stuff is expensive at all compared to the other mainstream models
