Lipo run time Trex 600

Run my new 600 up for the second time today, hovered on 3 lipos and just run for 4 mins..
Re charged packs and put back 1150 into a 4800 revolution lipo..
I am a beginer, not checked head spead yet.. need to get a tacho..should i expect to get 5 mins plus?

For hovering you should expect around 8 mins,you can safetly take around 3800 out of it

Dont run the headspeed too low as the motor will be inefficient,also semi symmetrical blades will give a slightly improved duration apparently for upright flight

Not used those packs yet, but on 4500mAH I can get 6.5mins leaving 22.2 -22.7 in the packs. But take it easy on your packs for a few flights.

Great thanks both for info, Just set tranny alarm for 5 mins at mo.. will run that for about 6 charges and then go longer..

When my Trex 600 and its lipos were brand new I had my timer set at 5 minutes and every flight was almost exactly 2000mAh, now I'm pushing a little harder I get through 3800mAh in 5 1/2 minutes.
