HS65mg to quote a small fraction of BobJ's recommendation for cyclic (he sent a meassage with that repeated over and over).
I had HS65HB on cyclic and as I broke gears I upgraded with the mg gear sets.I currently have one set of HB gears on the back cyclic servo and might swap that for metal before I beak the plastic. BobJ reports he broke the karbonite in the air in hard 3D (but he is well hard).
on the tail I run a HDS577 from ashtek electronics. This is OK but does wear out (on my second). I can't bring myself to pay for a 9650. The JR suggested is tabout the same +£50 price. Encouraging is there is a new robbe fs61BB speed digital for the tail that robgt is running and says is the mutts nuts and it shoudl be £30 when a shop stocks some in the UK.

Hmmm, their idea of a 'Digital high speed servo' differs a little from mine, 0.13s is a little on the slow side for a tail servo, no?

Slow? confused, the JR is .13, the 9650 - probably the most popular tail servo for a 450 sized heli ever is .14. I've seen some very good people fly 9650's and they seem fast enough for them.

                S3153

If you want something a bit cheaper than a 9650 have a look at the 3153

ok so it has less torque than a 9650 but it is 0.11 sec at 4.8v

i have just replaced the hds-577 on the tail of my Caliber 400 with one and it rocks

                  Still is
Dave and I both have them on (although my rex is in need of a new head at the mo), and Daves is performing perfectly - still.
It just needs to stand the test of time for me now - but so far so very very good.
                  Cheers,

After the nightmares I had with the 3154 I have a hard time being persuaded to try another Futaba micro digital.
