  • Blade tracking

    Hi

The Trex has started behaving so I treated it to some 325 Pro blades.

Only slightly out of track so what is the best way of adjustment on these wee beasties?

Pitch rod or wash out mixer arm?

I think I read somewhere to adjust the mixer arm not the pitch rod.

    Cheers for any info.

If it's a small amount out of track (i.e. almost in track) then adjust the long links from the swash.
For larger adjustments, use the double links (attached to the blade grips).

    Cheers,

      Thanks Rob

Just turned the long control rod and bingo, they track beautifully.

Sound good as well and also at 325 mm (as opposed to 315mm) seem to make the Heli a little more stable.

      Cheers

        Hi Mark

How is your TRex going now, have you got to the bottom of the piroetting tail?

          Hi Lee

Yes, its hovering very smoothly now.

It was the nasty Align tail servo that was giving me grief.

Put a Futaba 148 on to test and she flew fine.

Now have a Futaba 3110 on and I'm starting to like the little machine for the first time in months.

Just come in from a 7 minute hover as it happens and I am now wishing I had an additional battery.

          Cheers
