Hi guys!
I have returned! And have pretty much decided on a return to SA for 18 months doing my trade in that period, while also starting my PPL(H) and after that, if it goes well and it's all it seems to be, my CPL(H)! Took my daughter to the heli pads to see if she would wave at them like she waves at mine - and she did! Had a good hours chat with a (good looking) female pilot, and she said that 32 was not even close to being too olf for a career change, and that there is currently a massive world wide (especially Cape Town, where helis are all over the sky) shortage of trained commercial heli pilots.
Anyway, that's another story...
My question for today is... why is the weather so rotten up here???
No, that's not it. My parts arrived.. The main bar, feathering shafts and new bending landing gear. So I'll get the gear on today, but then try fix the possible slow head speed that MAY have been causing the wobble on my videos I posted before my holiday.
If it IS the feathering shaft or main shaft, there was mention of possible training videos to get these replaced. Is this still a GO, as it would be fantastic to get those and see what I'm in for.
