what ever happened to the 0 2.5 5 7.5 10 setups that newbs used to be told to do?????

It just seemed to dissappear in favour of the 0 degrees at mid stick???

I prefer not to advise setups for the mid-stick hover.
If the pilot ever wants to fly 3D, it saves the hassle of relearning stick positions, and if they don't, well, no harm done.
Plus a little negative pitch is always useful to help get a heli down if conditions make it otherwise difficult
