I posted the pricing on this new pack in the Kokam 6S 4800 price drop thread but it's such an awesome price I thought I'd separate it out to a thread of it's own for those who only run the smaller T-Rex 450 and wouldn't be watching that particular thread.

What about the performance and the cycle life ashley?
Is it as good as the kokam?
When you have been saying its the kokam chemistry that is different and makes them last much longer than the thunderpower etc, is this one kokam like? or is it toast after 100 cycles?

Just got off the phone with mike . Ordered a 4s charger, BEC discharge protector thingummybob and 3 packs of the revolutions ( which now come without deans connectors)
I must say Mike is a very nice man to speak to over the phone , very honest and patient with beginners . If he is as good at delivering the goods I will be a loyal customer

So far I've only sampled the 6S 4800 Revolution, which on voltage out perfroms the kokam, cycle life will take time to ascertain. These 2100s are not in country yet, so I've only got a price.

I got a CellPro charger off him a few weeks back... but now it sounds like the cellpro will not work with these new batteries? I have the "cellpro 4s".

i'm pretty sure Mike said the new packs were going to be delivered with a CellPro compatible connector
if not (& i doubt it) he can supply you with an adapter to connect almost ANY LiPo pack to the CellPro
TBH the adapters are pretty good as they come with an extension lead that means you can charge the cells while still fitted if you want

Oh, right. So the Revolution 3S 2100 18C should be able to be balance charged with the CellPro 4S Charger, if a cellpro connection is attached to the battery pack?

it should just plug straight in

if not you could just add the CellPro style pigtail charge leads & if you're not that confident with soldering Mike will do it for you

BUT i'm almost certain they will be compatible straght out of the box
