    Flying the pro this morning giving her loads of 3D abuse when suddenly 'boom' blades flew off, heli done a nose dive.
    Me thinking the worsed on inspection found the thrust bearing broke up on one side of the feather shaft & screw broke off on the otherside, the only other damage was canopy & skids even the blades escaped damage wowww was I pleased it wasn't more serious.
    Today's outlook is fine for flying.

    Sounds like a lucky escape.

    The thread title reminded me of a war poem entitled "The German Guns".
