Oh oh! Just been told by the guy I have bought the heli from, that the ESC has an 'Align' connection. THis isn't good news, as the battery has a Deans. (Standards, people!

Is there such a thing that can change the Align connection to accept a Deans? I think the best would be to modify the ESC, as the Deans seems more universal? But I was hoping there may be a small cable that I can plug onto the battery?Trex 500CF - GY401 with S9254, HS-5245MGs, Torque Tube, AR7000..

You can just cut the align connector off and solder a Deans in it's place. Its only a positive wire & a negative wire plus the deans has the polarity stamped on it too.
I did the very same last night, including soldering deans connectors to all my lipos.
Just dont forget the female deans connector goes on the battery
