Robbe/Schluter has always been the UK distributor and Skyline would get their stuff from them. But now they are named as a distributor in their own right. Interesting stuff.

lets face it and i know its the same ole chestnut and not worth going over but very few of our heli related products are competitively priced in the Uk

A couple come to mind,,Spektrum stuff and Compass helis,most other things are a rip off and its the distributors who are getting rich

then if your really lucky u get nailed for import tax then find out there is some defective part in the box......how much is that gonna cost to send it back etc then how long to get it sorted??????

Saving money is great but why fund another countries economy???????

I know it's rip off Britain with tax's etc. It's not the ppl in power that are bothered it ends up with ppl like Skyline, Midlands etc.

Import Tax if applied is not that much really,i have very rarely got hit and it was only £20 or so on a £300 item

If i get a defective part i would consider myself very unlucky,if i was to say get a dodgy 401 then i could send it back which aint much or i could buy a UK one and send faulty one back for replacement..Naughty but who gives a toss

Don't apologise we all have opinions!!!! I just feel it is unfair that our shops get screwed over by tax etc.

The home market is always or should be cheaper than a foreign market due to shipping. When was the last time that any of us sold a reasonable size product on ebay and gave free shipping?

Agreed,,unfortunately we as a nation are too scared to tell Blair where to stick his Tax increases,if we all boycotted council Tax etc what are they gonna do about it??

I know the problem is with the government,i aint got much time for the French whos tanks go faster in reverse than forward but they know how to stick together and blockade our ports when they are pi$$ed about something
