  • Battery questions for the Trex

    Hi All,

Just put the 4th flight on my trex 600 today. Very very impressed by it. Really nice smooth model to fly. lots of power wouldn't call it endless but still very much plenty if there is such a saying.

    I have a couple questions

1/ I'm running a camelion charger and about 1 out of 3 charge's, when it completes it's charge it reverts back to the start screen instead of staying on the batt full screen. I'm using fp4900 packs with a v-balancer. Anybody had these problems?

2/ When I charge the reciever lipo I can only put in about 200mAh. I've had two flights before it's last charge. Just comparing to the Knight I have a lipo setup in that and it is taking about 300mAh per flight. Is the Trex using a percentage of the main battery?

    Cheers
    Cheers Matt

My Chamaleon is Ok for displaying end charge but its only once you disconnect the Lipo and then its only briefly, sort of blink and you will miss it

My Rx lipo also only takes about 200 mah after a couple of flights, dont forget its running 1 less servo and the flight duration is less

Would be interesting though to hear other peoples comments

I dont know if the Rx is drawing any power from the ESC as well like you said,,

Does the esc also output voltage thru the throttle lead?,,if so that would i assume reduce the load taken from the BEC

I dont wanna test it by connecting main Lipo with bec turned off in case we have a whirly blade moment

Battery Question for a Nokia 6230i

Phone is 5 days old and the battery has gone flat between 5pm yesterday and this morning!

Oh well, company will just have to supply a new one (again) I suppose.

Is the charge being terminated by the charger or the V Balancer? It shouldn't be stopped by the V Balancer but if it is then it disconnects the battery from the charger and most chargers return to the start screen in these circumstances.
