I wonder about the hitec digital servo programmer.
No other manufacturer sells a servo programmer as far as I know.
I presume you can program the dead band with it. so by selling servos with randomly bad dead band they can sell some programmers perhaps? or they think fussy folks will buy the programmer? Maybe they don't bother individually optimising the servos and other manufacturers do.
Maybe you can find someone who has one?

By the way tight links in the head will cause this issue.

Do'nt like the sound of this,,,
I have Hitec's on my 500 recomended by somone and
I thought it was my poor flying with a new light frisky heli that was the problem
            but,
I know I can usually go into, place and hold a stable hover perfectly with my other helis
Just can't do it consistanly with the 500,
I wondered what the programable servo thingy was and ment.
But for now I like Disc will have to stick with them,
Think I'll go down the Futaba route when I do have to change them.
Btw thairs not a problem with the rx being a Futaba 2.4 is there? just checking,
Also is the 500 quite tail heavy compared to other helis, or have I done something else wrong
