Well,
I've been trying for the last two weeks to sort some bits out for my 600cf, and so far I'm not enjoying the experience.
I've now tracked down most of the parts I need to get it in the air and spent a lot of time doing so,
So far I've managed to get the servo links thanks to an incredibly patient Mike at Skyline who took the time to figure out exactly what I needed and they're always a pleasure to deal with.
Equally, to some point a chap at fast-lads helped find a few other bits for me.
Now, I'm having an absolute nightmare sorting out the control shaft - it seems that I can get the shafts, the levers, and the bolts. I don't have a manual so a quick look at the online one got a few part numbers and i was duly back on the phone to ask for a control shaft with all of the little shims and washers to enable me to mount it and it's arrived today with just the little bolts that go in either end. The aileron levers come with the spacing shims but I'm missing the little washers that go over the ends of the shaft to prevent the aileron levers from falling off.
To compound matters an email to Align UK asking where I might locate these very bits has gone unanswered (actually, it's not even been read) and now I'm left for another weekend with a grounded chopper. (Also my 251 hasn't arrived from HK yet!)
It seems that there's a higher power conspiring against me on this one just now
Now, if anyone has two of these daft little washers spare I'm willing to beg, steal, borrow, pay, donate to the site or pretty much anything to get this thing sorted 'cos it's sat on my bench taunting me!!!!!
