Telebee HH Gyro

Hi everyone.

I'm thinking of upgrading from my Trex 450 to a 500 and as I am on a tight budget, I would like to continue using the TELEBEE HH gyro which sell for around £30. I am not into 3D - just gentle park flying and found the Telebee ok for my purposes on the 450, so will it be suitable for the 500 ?

not really, the 500 tail is really powerful so much so it can overwhelm a 401 if you dont have a fast enough servo. My advise get a 2nd hand 401 and 9257 or 9650 servo

The GY401 really is as cheap as you'd want to go on the 500 mate, there a fantastic bit of kit and well worth the money if your going up to a class 500 machine.

or get the new align combo mate cheep as chips and good reviews too.

oh yeah forgot a bout that got the align gyro in one of the knights its friggin awesome but has a slight drift but thats due to setup more than anything. iirc £65 at trexmad

Many thanks for your advice. Its obvious I'm will have to fork out more than I intended but I suppose that's better than seeing a 500 disappear into the wild blue yonder !
