  • 600E is bogging after chaning blades...

I got a 600E at the weekend, second hand which was advertised on here.

I changed the blades to V-Blades 600mm TST ( i love V-Blades ) but now i seem to be getting some bogging on harsh collective punch outs. Previously had Radix 600mm blades on it.

Should i upgrade to 600XL or just drop the pitch range down a degree or two?

    Hi Jerome

I have had exactly the same thing with TST v-blades on my Trex 600e. The problem with V-blades whlist an excent blade they are very stiff and if you are not 100% perfect on your collective managemnet they will sap the energy out of the head big time. Example I flew a flight with TST v-blades and one with radix. I data logged it and with almost an identical flight TST's pulled 4250 mAh and radix pulled 3750 mAh. Big difference!!!!

My advice is get yourself a set of radix blades, they are a much more forgiving blade than radix. And auto better IMO

    Cheers
    Cheers Matt

Well i guess i'll just stick the Radix blades back on that i have. Save the V-Blades for a nitro if i ever get one hehe.

Thanks for the reply, very helpful!
