  • TRex 600 Clutch Clearance

Does anyone know the recommended clearance for the clutch for a TRex 600 Nitro.

    yeh,

its exactly, 15.001 of a nats nacker.

whats the reason for needing to know ?. u should be able to just build it and fly i as it comes from the factory.

if u have burnt it out then a good clearance is two winds of electrical tape around the clutch shoe then pop it in the bell with the new lining while the glue sets.

hope i have been sarcastic and helpfull as this is my aim.
    have fun.

Geoff, not sure of the clearance but I use the Raptor 90 Heavy Duty liner (PV0324) in my 600N clutch bell, and I think its great. A closer fit and very little dragging.

      It works really well.

I too use a Raptor 90 heavy duty liner as stock was pretty loose and I was concerned about the clutch spreading, expect it would have been fine but I wanted to be on the safe side.

Thank yo Colin. My clutch is worn and the new one comes with the lining unfitted. The clearance is much larger than expected and your information is very helpful. I think I will try the Raptor lining suggested by Loipin and Thomas.

Thank you Colin and all. My clutch is worn and the new one came with the lining unfitted. I will try the Raptor ling as the TRex one leaves a big clearance.

This is the first time I have posted a question and the response is very helpful

Thank you. I will us the Raptor lining you suggest. The Trex ling with the new clutch is thin and the clearance far too big.

my 600n clutch definitely has more clearance than my raptor50. The raptor does tend to drag a bit.

That is exactly what I have found. The original, now worn, clutch has a big clearance but still works fine. My Raptor 50 used to drag. I have decided to follow Colin and if it isn't right then to try the Raptor 90 lining.
