Flight times?

How long a flight do you get from your 600 nitro? I use 30% Coolpower, 2200rpm and it has had a gallon through it. I think I should get more than 4-5 minutes?

Sounds like your running a little Rich. Also if I'm not mistaken the headspeed on a Trex 600 nitro should be more like 2100

There are two 600Ns at our club and they both have short flight times compared to other 50s. I think it's just a bit of a small tank.

I only get about 6-7 mins max running 30% magnum at 95% idle up throttle at peak.

I get 10 mins but then again I am running 20% Magnum on a Hyper 50 with MP5. I am running mostly at 1800rpm. I am still learning, so no big 3D

I'll lean it out a bit tomorrow and turn the headspeed down to 2100-2150rpm, see how it works.

Hyper 50, Magnum 20%, smartcarb set to 90, 1850 headspeed, getting 12 mins plus at the moment just doing FF.

Today the tank easily out lasted my poor thumbs, it was so cold

Mine both go 7 and a half to 8 mins full to dry.
This is with Hypers on 30% and either the Align pipe or Hatori 522 at 2100 on the head.
I am sure the tank on the 600 is actually bigger than the Rappy tank it's just every one runs them faster so uses fuel quicker.

Just compared tanks with a rappy 30/50.
The 600n is at least 20% bigger.
It looks about the same size as the rappy 60 tank I squeezed into my raptor50, and that goes for 10 minutes at 2050 rpm.
First flight with the 600n tomorrow I think.

Flew mine today on 2 tanks fulls and both lasted about 6 mins 95% throttle on idle up, i checked the times to post here.

Duration on my 600n seems similar to my rappy, didn't time it though.
2000 headspeed approx, and rich as Branson 'cos its running in.
