Do i need a governor?

Hi guys, i just joined.

Just a quickie,

I'm buying a 600 pro, used to fly a nexus and currently a little 450. I'm doing basic circuit stuff atm with a view to some learning some tame 3D.

Do i need a governor at this stage or could i upgrade to one later on as my skill level increases (well hopefully)?

A Gov is a good little gadget but it would be best you learn to set your throttle curves right and have a good understanding how all the set ups work.
You dont really need a Gov but it does help and make things just the easer.
Once you have the curves just right and you start getting in to 3D more then get your self a Gov
