  • Quick UK washout

    Guys,

Anyone know if the Quick UK metal washout sorts out the phase issue ?

    http://www.realraptors.co.uk/zen-car...oducts_id=3710

Or have I got to buy the washout and swash....

T-rex 600n has a shake I need to eliminate as well....

the QUK swashplate is the item that has the most effect on resolving phasing inaccuracies.

Does your heli have the thinner (1.6mm) frames - are they carbon or fg?
              Has it been crashed ever?

              Cheers,

                  This is sounding familiar
If you grab the head and firmly hold the frames at the upper bearing block area, can you rock the head so that it looks like the frames are twisting?
If so - the sideframes are stuffed and need replacing.
Mate of mine could not isolate a shake on his (FG sideframes 1.6mm) - I did the frame rigidity test (as I think we'll call it ) and the problem was immediately apparent - they were like jelly!

He actually only replaced one side, I think - and that solved it!
Replacement was done with a 2mm sideframe.

As lomg as everything is done up tight so that it "shouldn't" move - I think this could be the problem?
                  Cheers,

If I have to strip all the kit out and rebuild the dam thing there are words I cannot use here

But I'll try it although I don't recall the undercarriage dying even though it was a Nose in Smash
