Stu, interested on your point of view.. take it 2007 or 2006 masters you got one?

If its the Knight pro, then I can understand where you say about problems.

The Knight was then later released as a plastic sport version, and the 3D G10version a few months later.. as I read though the lines you was not helped or understood in your efforts, that was made to improve or make the older pro version work..

Whether this was down to compass or the importer at the time I am not sure.

I will say the view from the factory I have found, is very favourable to making a good model better.. and I have been speaking to them for over a year now.

Yes agree, things don't always go the way it should, but Compass/ Climb-out are there to help.. I am depends on the way you put it, a contact point for compass.. a face! as are the sponsored pilots, as Ade law and Patrick Arnold. the team / consists of test guys that want to fly and make the model better
I am not a sales guy.. the point is that people that fly compass, are happy and tell me why if not! the changes are tested and then released.

They do listen, as the list of changes for the se version, and bits all ready improved like the canopy shape and so on..

It always been strange, I have found that one person build is not the same as the next and not all faults are model related, We hold are hands up if it is!

The only fault is the knight pro and knight sport and knight 3d kept the knight brand name, you will find there is more problems posted about the Pro version and people tar the sport and 3d with the same brush.. its not the same model as before and not the same support

Climb-out, which was part of skyline has moved on wards..

Just about another post I am not going to fall out with people, but you do talk a load of bloocks sometime, and to try and make some browny points when not need Trev

I am gonna chime in here and i will say it as i see it now..

On the original topic of the 600N basic,i am getting good service out of mine,i would not say Align produce the best helis but i dont think they produce the worst..i would recommend a 600N as a viable purchase but there are a lot of good models on the market that will give good service..

briefly touching on the Knight issue,i can see first hand by the many very happy Knight fliers at DMHC that the product being sold today has moved on a great deal,i can see that Climbout are doing everything asked of them to ensure any possible issues are sorted and they are getting there..

Seeing some of the smiles on Knight fliers faces as they walk back from the flightline shows they must be doing something right..

Being stood right by Ade while he displays some incredible flying skills shows me that the 3d can take just about anything,i have said before and i still maintain that it is the best full blown 3d model out of the box..

I do love the Align stuff but boy dont they make you pay for the upgrades which should be standard

Can't wait until the trex 700 comes along in 2008. Thats on my shopping list, i might have to invest in a 450 or 500 to replace the mini pred in the meantime though.
          hi moonflyer,

I have learned to fly a fixed pitch micro (walkera 4#3 buzz fly) well against all odds! not as hard as they make out.... can hover in all rotations apart from head on, its just too small, and fly circuits round my wife and dog!!

looking to get serious and venture on to a rex 600 cf or nitro pro.

Which one should i go for? like the clean living of the E but batteries are serious money.

i want to get it right first time and enjoy the best the new build/learning curve can offer!?
