I love my trex nitro and it is bar far the best heli i have flown as yet, I haven't flown the knight but as said in some other answers the align parts are cheep, even more so than the parts on my mini pred and that is a heli half the size.
Can't wait until the trex 700 comes along in 2008. Thats on my shopping list, i might have to invest in a 450 or 500 to replace the mini pred in the meantime though.

Think that may have to be added to my fleet also, if the wife lets me.

other Top 50 size machine out there
right now. All have slight issues (inc knights)
you would have to be off your head to get a knight.

I had one where the frames broke in flight, tail hubs destroyed themselves. downing the heli....4 flights, 2 crashes!

POS dont waste your time or money. Id have Irwins helis over that any day.

Honestly the biggest waste of money and time i ever had!

The support fomr you knwo who was absolutely abysmal after being sold it at the masters when it came out.

"best heli" blah de blah. I know a lot of people think that these helis shine sun out their tails, but no chance.

stu to be fair you had one of the very very early knight pros with carbon frames. Tail hubs were changed and skyline are no longer involved in the knight

yes errors were made but they have learnt from them and have moved on an aweful long way from the first pros. Its a bit like saying the raptor V2 is crap because the V1 tail hub was even worse than the v2.

I knew you would come in Ade.

The new ones just arent any different. And iin many respects its a good thing Skyline arent involved as they really did not endear themselves ot me in any way!

I suppose being insulted by compass saying i didnt build it right were a step too far.

the only bad bit about the 450 is only having three packs at the mo so good to just go fly in places ya cant take a big nitro but yet it flys so well,so many empty fields near me and not enough batteries

Wahoo, we finally agree, I had a sport for a few months, had no end of trouble with it beating itself up so sold it to Thomas who then also sold it pretty sharpish too, both of us replaced with rex's and I for one haven't looked back since.

Climb-out's support of the Compass brand is excellent, but I just couldn't put up the constant failures every single damn flight. Flying wise the knights are fine...

In answer to the original question, there's no down sides to the Trex 600n Sport IMO, perfectly usable. You won't regret buying one.
