  • Align regulator and 2.4Ghz

I'm going to take the plunge and get a 600 nitro pro with Align hyper, pipe and the regulator. A lot of people are having glitches with the rgulator, would 2.4Ghz get rid of the problems??

Yes it will but also the later versions are supposed to be a lot cleaner than the older ones

I used one on my Raptor and my knight on 35Mhz with no problem.

Personally I think a lot of the problem is that people with no electric model experience have no idea about component placement and so many were putting the Reg too close to the Rx with obvious consequences

I don't have the Rappy anymore and the Knight is now on 2.4Ghz so the 2 in 1 is nearer the Rx than I would prefer on 35Mhz

            i use these

absolutely no issues with it being too close to the rx. mines 3 years old and still going strong.

ok it doesnt have the glow driver but is it really a problem?

yeh i gave up on those things too. got one of these instead. it clips onto the battery in my flight box. its adjustable and has an LED to tell you when the plug is pulling current or not.

i got it from mr models, not sure who distributes them.

I have exactly the same thing, with a short little glo driver on the end. Bought it for my buggies really but it's just as useful for the helis and is never flat...famous last words. mind you I guess if that don't work I'm not gonna turn the engines over either

I'm lazy too. My reg is one of the older Align ones sits practically on top of one half of the AR7000 rx and I have never had an issue with it

I too have the older version and its mounted directly under my ar7000 and have had no problems at all with it, I realy like the idea of just pressing the button to operate the plug,
