Spanked the 600 good and proper :(

Had a bade crash with my 600le today, it was the first crash i hav had with it in 308 flights, and it was by no means a light crash I flew fff very low and snagged the skid on a tuft of grass it pulled the heli into the ground then the heli flew about 1m into the air hit the ground and chewed the ground up a bit There was quite a bit of damage but luckly the frames, exhaust and engine are not damaged, well it looks like i will eventually convert it over to fbl now as it will be cheaper to repair and should fly alot better One tip i learnt from today, dont fly too low upright lol

That's not a bad one Chris, if you replace the canopy that's about £130 worth. I do that on a weekly basis

Yer i susppose the damage isnt tht bad, but the whole of the rotor head is bent the blade grip arms and rotor hub and the whold tail gearbox is bent. So i think its about time to convert it to fbl. Yer the 600 spares are good price Jus rather not crash espessially upright, lol how embarresing

Nice one Nick, sounds good to me, is tht fbl head the one with the swash follower built in?? And pm me how much u could do those edge blades for, havnt flown edge blades before

No,seperate follower,it may not look as nice as the v2 head but you get better geometry with it.

Blades are only 10 flights old,you can have them for £45 collected from the field
