trex 550 standard esc

Hi all just a quick one is the standard esc enough to run a scorpion 4025 1100kv

no,its a 100 amp motor

there 70amp continous 105amp peak so check scorpion spec 100amp continous so think you will proberly make it go pop

if you intend on flying hard with this motor,expect 3.30 to 4mins max flight time,severe on batteries also,killed two 2 weeks ago and 2 sunday

Ok cheers for that i thought it would have to be 100 amp so will have to purchase one

I would be wary of the Align 100A esc if I were you. I had that setup with the Align 600 motor on my Fusion and the esc literally set on fire and was completely destroyed. I replaced it with the Castle ice2 80HV and that worked much better....until the Align motor blew up! The 550 will be kinder though because of the shorter blades - I was running 600mm blades.
