Some interesting comments there guys please keep em coming.
Bang for buck it has to be the 600 sport for me.
The reason put over simply is that it is under two hundred notes, the Knight 3D is £279 thats a hell of a difference.
The Knight 3D is the best flyer I've always known that but for me It cant be nearly £80 better, thats most of the cost of an OS 50 hyper or a box & a half of fuel for it.
Richie your flying warrants the best heli mate & the 3d does the business for you as it does for Ade. I'm not in that league nor likely to be, I'm far to nervous a pilot to get anywhere near the knight 3D's capabilities.
I think it's a shame that the Knight sport isnt of the same quality as the 600 sport as then it would be a no contest in my humble opinion.
The Canopy on the knight sport is awfull, it just gives it that ungainly look that doesnt do it for me. I know I could buy a sport kit spend £40 on the new canopy & still have change from £200 but I think I would have it less than a year then end up selling it & getting a 3D or a 600N so this time I'm not rushing in where fools dare.

your not really comparing like with like... the 3d is easily 80ukp better than the 600 sport. the head is so much better and the knights single stage belt drive is a lot more efficient than the 600n sports.

however as you say you wont notice the difference.

the knight sport is the baby for you. its got the knight flying ability all bar aileron tic tocs and autos. but with the far more durable plastic frames which are bloody solid.

i would also get the new plastic 3d canopy this is what i use for sport flying and get the glass one out for shows.

Yeh I've seen that Rob, the way you & Ade helped Charlie out at Charmouth was very nice to see.

          Thanks Rob.
I am being overly cautious as I just dont want to buy the wrong heli again.
Like buying the 600AF & 2 align packs
That was my bigest worstest decision to date cost me a fortune & I get very little out of that heli infact I've flown it less than 20 times & the packs are stuffed already

            Martin,

Think you're find there all do the job for you, what ever you go for..
you have every right to be overly cautious, as its your money mate.

Charlie made a mistake and we helped him out, its no more than I would do for anyone else that has a Kn model.(ask anyone)

But I also tell people a problem if I find any, it might not be the best things for sales, but model wise there a lot of people smiling when there flying mate.

Martin, totally understand where you are coming from...... buy what you want. Any of the helis mentioned will be fine for you. If you are looking for a long term heli then you are right to take your time and try to weigh up all the pros and cons.

There appears to be compromise with most helis. You pays your money you takes your choice.

You could always drop Phil Henderson a PM Not sure what he's doing 600 sports for at the minute. I know he was doing pro kits for £290 delivered

Don't think he can get Knight kits though

                      Cheers
