  • Oh dear!

evening guys and girls been having loadsa issues with my 600n pro over the last 3months which nearly made me jack in... it was all sourced to a dodgey laptop corrupting settings
well over this weekend i got it sorted and its rockin so starting to get the bug again
so when it started to make a pinging/ rattling noise today i ignored it because it was flying fine and thought it was just the tail pushrod tinging....wrong
look at the piccy... fastest piro auto i've even done!
moral of the story if your machines complaining investigate

i dont rate the torque tube at all, and had i given it more forethought, id have stayed with the tail drive. i had my only crash ever on my 600e because of a failed front drive gear mid flight. not worth the £75 upgrade on the E and the nitro sport.....

you need the front tail boom clamp and pulley. I've done 200+ flights on my torque tube 600, I've only ever stripped gears landing in long grass and getting the tail all caught up.

Actually up-front you only need the pulley, converted mine a while back.

Sounds like a similar story to the JR Airskipper 50 tail pinion shaft shearing issue.

My advice is to take it up with the manufacturers, and get other people with similar failures to support you. JR did listen, and altered the material/design of the failing part, thereby restoring my faith in their products.

                      Take it up with Align.

I believe you need the front and rear pulleys.
                          Cheers,
