Fuel Filter Install

Does this look ok for a 3 way fuel filter install

The run of fuel tube seems to be very short and I didn't know if it was too short?

did you get a plastic mounting bracket with it?

This clamps over the tubes at either end of the filter & helps secure the tubes.


Otherwise looks fine to me

Provided you filter your fuel from your jug, I'd suggest NOT putting a filter on your carb line. Personally I double filter my fuel on filling, and put a filter on my pressuer line, between the muffler and tank, to prevent ingress of crap from the exhaust.

David - I did get the plastic mount mate, although there isn't much to screw it to without drilling holes

janek - Thanks for the advice I actually have a YS 50 which is regulated and pumped so no need to worry about crap coming back from the exhaust

I used the engine mount bolt to attach the mount. No probs at all
