  • 600 clutch problems

Well I've struggled since day one with starting my new v2 & today I found out why.
The one way bearing in the clutch is spinning in the clutch & I'm wondering what I can do to solve it.
It seems a good fit but it should be an interference fit wehich it obviously never was.
What do you guys recon I should do?

if the V2 clutch is anything like the LE clutch I would imediately change it for a quick uk. they reved quickely then snached.

but I take it this problem is bearing to clutch fit. if it was bought locally id get on to them to solve it as its definately not crash damage. maybe green threadlock would hold it, or the 3rd option, if the models from abroad again cut your losses and go the QUK route.
    All the best
    Tony.

The kit is a uk spec model bought from fast lads Tony but do I realy want to go down that long & arduous route.
My hyperion duo is still in the system being returned to hyperion for a port one fault & I'm not exactly being kept
      up to date.

I find it has to be a really good fit for one-ways to hold with green locktight...I've had more success with epoxy

Yeh they do rev & snatch Tony.
It's a lovely flying model tho so maybe it deserves a quick uk clutch.

My first LE I swapped over after only a couple of week, I built a second LE and got the QUK clutch before I even built it, they work far better. and mine like most 600's do alot of work
              All the best

A cheaper option is a new clutch liner, either a rappy 90 one or another 600 one backed up with a piece of paper behind it while gluing in

VBControl, but not the gay white version as i'm simply not gay enough to pull it off!

Do yourself a favour. Ditch the Align clutch, ring Budd at Quick UK and buy a decent one.

My clutch is no good tho Nick the hole in it is to big & the one way bearing spins in it.
So padding out the bell won't work I'm afraid.
Just looked at the price of the quick uk clutch
                    It's a trex 600 not a synergy or jr

Get on the phone to FL if it is faulty.

Failing that, green loctite is your best bet.

The QuickUK clutch in my 700 was excellent and well worth the money; after the OWB was swapped out by Budd anyway.

I think you'll find a 2 minute phone call will get it sorted - give them a ring.
