  • 600 v2 flybarless anyone tried one?

Just wondering if anyone here had already converted there v2 flybarred Align 600 to flybarless?
My v2 flies nice enough but I still have that 600 shimmy that i've had with every align 600 I've owned.
Not sure what it is doing it I just know that it oscilates up & down slightly whilst in the hover on its elevator axis.
I am thinking of doing this because I need to proove my Beast x is good to A/ either sell it or B/ have faith in it that it was just poorly installed in my fusion.
I think it will work fine as the 600 is a little more stable a platform for it, hopefully with less vibes to upset the beast x.
The other question I was going to ask is will I need to change the 600's swash or is it already flybarless enabled some way?
I already have a spare fusion 50 flybarred head here & for less than £50 I can convert it to a flybarless head with these items.

    Mine don't do that.

Hmmm I have a spartan 760 on front gyro mount.
So your hover is rock solid with no hunting around the tail at all.
That's weird mine won't stop still at all. Did you use the hard or soft dampers?
I think I put the red ones on mine. What about the fan did you dial it at all cause I never do.

            Hi Martin,
Sorry for the late reply. Hover is solid. No vibes, hunting, wag etc. Used the soft dampers in the head which is the red one's. I'm no 3d flyer so no need for the hard dampers just yet. Just checked the manual. Red are 60 deg, softer and the black ones are 80 deg, harder. I'll stick the black dampers in when the reds wear out.
Did not dial the fan. Used the one in the kit and did not upgrade to a metal one.
            Cheers, Rich

Elevator, tail up and down wobble can be blades too tight in the grips...particularly if in forward flight or hover in a wind?

I do my blades up but not so much that they can't centre in the grips.
I wonder if using to high a nitro content in the engine can cause it?
I'm running copter mix 30% & always have done in my 600's & everyone has shown this wag.

Make sure the blades are tracking nice and the engine is running nice, i get a slight wobble at low headspeed wen its a bit windy, i think its to do with the mainshaft in the bearings and it wobbles slightly!!!
