New Align 700 FBL Head!!

Is there more chance of a boom strike with these lower heads or is it just an urban myth? Has anyone experienced boomstrikes using a shorter mainshaft?

I really like that new arm design,i like it better than the way Compass did it but for sure i would say thats where the inspiration came from.

The Compass setup is very good indeed so this i think is another improvement in the overall model from Align.

looking at it again it looks exactly the same as my 700e v2 head except with the different control link might be the only difference

And the fact its about an inch shorter on the head block, and the swash drivers are gone!!

Im not sure on what dfc stands for but it looks a bit like the TDR head being very short in height!

A lower head you would think would allow for faster rolls/flips but seems to make no difference from posts I have seen on other forums who cut down main shafts on FBL helis.

Looks cooler though .
