    Waveydavey, yes your right, so I either go down the life pack route or buy another 1800/2100 lipo 2 cell.

          No need to worry about big packs with the 3GX mate. I fly my 600 efl pro with an Align 1900 2s pack with no problems. It is using around 125mah per flight so that equates to an easy 10 flights per charge Don't think I'd push my luck quite that far but it's more than capable of 5 flights before a charge is required. Oh and its using the standard supplied 6amp regulator with no problems

          I also use an Align 1900 in my 700e with a 3G controller runing v3 software and thats drawing about 190mah per flight (ElyQ reg on this beast though).
