230mmX4mm meatal rod

I am building a T-rex 700 3G Nitro and have come accross a metal rod in the kit.

It is 230mm long and has a 4mm diameter. It has no threading, either external or internal, and no holes. It is just a meatal rod.

I don't know what I am supposed to do with it. It doesn't seem to have any place on the heli and has no obvious use as a tool.

Does anybody know?

Is it used for to measure the pitch, comes with the 'flybar holder tool'.
