Go for the 50 over the 55 imo,unless your are a great 3d pilot the 50 is by far the better motor and uses a lot less fuel.

Lots of good s/h 50 hypers around if your on a budget my mate was selling one for £60/70 a while back he may still have it.

Ive got a tt53 redline with os50 carb in my 600le, its had 150 flights and the bearings look and feel brand new (never been changed), the piston and all the internals all look shiney and new, its a great combo with the tt high flow pipe producing good power and reliability, Fastlads have a good deal on the high flow pipe!!!
ps and the spares are very cheep for the redline!!!
