Have herd os engines r unreliable? What wud everyone go 4?

In 40 years of aeromodelling I must have had more than 50 OS engines from .15 to 120 and a Wankel and apart from a Perry pumped Hanno Pretner 90 that was a b*gg*r to tune and 1 50 heli engine that needed a new bearing they have all been flawless. IMHO you cant buy better than OS for a good sport engine.T-Rex 450 DFC / AR7200BX

The blue top one is a Hyper 50, and a good engine, try to get a new one or a used one from this forum, be carefull if you use flea bay

Os engines are very reliable imo and the os50 hyper (blue head) has only one needle making it very easy to tune. Alternatively you can for os55 which has two needles but comes with more power.cheersLong live the flybar.

About the OS I know from ppl the use them from 20 years are the best one as said above the 50 is easy to tune and they are like diesel engine they last forever I saw some used one with the pipe around 100/120Originally posted by dean8455 View PostMikado Logo 600 3D
