F3c low proflie skids on nitro

Just a quick one ive just put these on my Le and want to now if there have been any issues in doing so,other than putting her down carefully so as not to wack tail blades

No no problems I used them on my le looked fab and never caught the tail

Nope.. not a problems at all.. got them on my LE and My Velo 90!.. Like Rachel says.. it makes it look much better!!

Are you collectively talking about the Hirobo Freya Low height skids on a Trex 700, or do Align do their own version?

I seriously do.. time is always so scarce for me, only managed to hover the EFL in sept and 1 1/2 gallon this year between the other two... now ive got another property to redo thats going to take up even more time I dont have.. ontop of my normal job and the business venture ive started

I really think I need to join MK heli so it forces me to find time to go and fly

i've seen the freya skids on the trex 700
and sdx50 skids on the trex 600
the odd align pilot had to have a little taste
they just need the rest of the kit to go with the skids

Best skids for the SDX by far are JR Vibe 50 ones.

i use the sceadu ones

Not those ones Steve.. those were the new ones but the OP is about these ones H70060 700F3C Landing Skid They are 1cm lower than the previous 3D struts.

I have them on the velo in the picture and the 600 has the struts you linked.. you can clearly see the height difference

Thanks for all the replys,yes these are aligns own skids as in the pis from eckchaz.The heli does look loads better,now just to get rid of the sticky out bits

I'm using one of the F3C struts on the front of my 700N and one of the normal struts on the back so that the heli is angled forwards slightly. Helps keep the tail rotor out of the grass and also looks a bit better I reckon.
