is an align 550flb head the same as a 600flb head

Hi I am thinking about trying flb and was wondering if a 550 head
will fit a 600 n

Hi I have them both but I would not use the 550 head on a 600 they are made lighter and do not look as sturdy. I am sure they can be fitted but I would get the 600 head.Why did align make a 550 head ? when they could have just got a 600 from the parts bin ?? It also states on the box 550 not 600 !!

I have been wondering that as well, I made my 550 from parts & used a 600 head on it as it happens.

Whats really confusing is that there are 550, 600, 600E Pro head parts & its very hard to tell them appart.
There are the New head blocks which mount the washout arms, incidently there are both 550 & 600 versions of this which look identical in a photos!
Then there are the links of lots of different lengths, different ball sizes to std or course. Different mainshafts for FBL, and you can of course use std head block if you have them. All this is pretty confusing!
