  • 600 fbl head

    Hello,

I'm looking for some advice on the best fbl head for a 600n. I've read the 3G does not have the best geometry and also appears to be discontinued so I'm looking at the rjx or outrage head.

I converted my 600n head using instructions on here and it flies really well - i use the futaba with it though.

I reckon a worthwhile mod would be to use the 600E pro fbl head, the swash driver is part of it so helps in alignment and rigidity. This coupled with the blade grips would be all you needed except the inner swash balls. Good head and avaiable spares

I used the synergy n5 head on mine, it's a fantastic piece of engineering. You will have to convert the ball links though.

Couldn't agree more! The RJX is 1st class, flys brilliantly, it looks good, and the arms are separate from the grips so if you bend one you don't have to buy the whole grip.
If you dont choose it now you'll live the rest of you life secretly wishing you'd gone for the RJX!

RJX head it is then, good price from hk. Just hope it doesn't take months to arrive.

Will this fit straight on as a replacement to my flybarred head, use same swash etc? I already have the shorter fbl 600 main shaft.

Silly question... but what is best way to measure pitch without the flybar as a reference?

Should be direct replacement. I use a magnetic electronic digital pitch guage. Beastx do one but can be found cheaper

True gingerr6 beastx do do their own bevel box but just go on that well known auction site & search for BEVEL BOX & you'll be able to get one thats identical to the beast box, just not in orange, they're normally blue or red. Expect to save about £10-15 for the same thing.

                          I just bought this one for my 600 & 500 fbl heli's:

                          RCLogger Digital Pitch Gauge 209288RC

a bit cheaper than the Beastx with a blade grip attachment.
