Hi all, I have a bit of a dilemma as I have 2 hv esc's and one heli to install it in, its a 600 efl pro. The 2 esc's in question are the commander 90 by scorpion and the Ice 2 120 by Castle Creations. I didn't set out to get these particular esc's as the 80 came with the kit but because of the problems with them I was offered the Ice 2 120 by robbe instead for a small fee. My gut feeling is to install the 120 as I have used Castle Creations with the castle link usb adaptor before and never had a problem, and it allows me to install it in something bigger should I want a 90 in the future. The Scorpion is an unknown product to me, I have no knowledge and know of no one locally who has one, it was bought as a replacement that was never needed, are they any good? which would you install & why?

Personally I'd try turning the scorpion ESC on and actually see if it does anything. Mine was brand new, and all it did was beep.........and thats about it (now sent back and refeunded). Personally I would think that ICE2 would be rock solid.Cheers,
Simon

I've been running the new Castle Creations ICE2 HV120 in my Synergy E6 and it's been faultless and it's a breeze to setup with the castle link. Thanks!
