Yes, I'm still flying with the converted head and it performs very well indeed. I'd definitely recommend it although as you will see in the thread above, you do have the extra hassle of machining (or finding somewhere) some spacers to go between the bearings in the mixing arms. Paulo UK did this conversion as well and last time I heard from him he was really happy with it. May be he can post here as to whether he's still using it?

Do a search for ADK FLYBARLESS CONVERSION.
I bought one for my 600 and its great. 45 bucks.
