Seems to of gone quiet, but I still have the issue.

I am going to reach out to owners of the v2 (who don't have the problem) and ask if any of you live near the south coast, Chichester area. I'd like to visit you and compare parts (ooeeerrr) to see if i've:

    a) done something wrong
    b) was given some wrong parts in my kit.

    Hoping someone replys..

The FBL mainshaft is 10mm shorter.

Just buy the FB one and you will be sorted.

Any chance you can fit it, then take a pic a negative, mid and positive?

Mines fine. As mentioned earlier in this thread the main shaft is 192mm if I remember right. I can just about get +/- 12 deg collective if I want. But I only run 10 collective and 7 or 8 deg cyclic.
Your welcome to compare, but we're not exactly close to one another.
            Cheers, Rich

Sure, will do those over the w/e.

The distributor has agreed to let me visit him and compare my parts with a new kit!

Gonna do this next Friday - hoping I find something obvious!

Thanks for the offer mate, I may take you up on that. Gonna visit the disty on Friday to compare my parts with a new kit.

192mm = Flybarless main shaft...so at least that bit is right on mine!

Ok, had some time so did the pics now.

Before you say anything, I know, I haven't gotten everything at 90 at mid stick. I just slapped on the longer mainshaft for you to see, didn't have time to re-adjust everything (but it's no better when everything is at 90, in fact to get it at 90 with the longer shaft most of the rods have to be extended well beyond the manual and almost their limits)

The pictures are named if you hover over them, two at each position.

Notice at low how the block falls of the pins?

Could a couple of you measure the pins for me and let me know how long yours are? Mine are approx 18mm

Thanks everyone in advance for you help!

DSC00577.jpgIt looks like the A frame and bracket is symmetrical, but is your grub screw in this position?

Yes mate, it is. Thanks for checking though.

Am really confused. I am complete noob at this, but have had 3 guys at my club have a look (all very experienced) and none of them can work it out. Much head scratching going on!

DSC00583.jpgThis is my main shaft its 192 millimetres long. From the top of the collar to the whole centre is 67.5mm this measurement might be of more interest, the pins are 17 not 18 not that it makes any difference.

Thanks again fo taking the time to measure. Just checked mine, and the distance is exactly the same from top of collar to centre of the hole.

Would you be able to measure the height of your "a" arm ?

                            IMG_1114.JPG

From the centre of the holes at each end is 61mm (the picture is a little misleading due to the angle I took it at)

                            Thanks in advance,

                            Ellis

Yes my A arm measures the same @ 61 millimetres. What is the maximum negative pitch you can get?

DSC00589.jpgI can see the difference between your servo arm position and mine, this is the position of my servo arm at 12°positive check the length of rod (D)
