CSM Flybarless Mod to T600N work in progress

Just checking the Logo, I've actually already fitted an aluminium washout base, forgot all about that! Should be easy enough to drill and tap for a grub screw.

The Trex has been going this weekend. It, and the flybarless Logo leave the everthing else I've got for dead by a mile.

i tryed playing with headlocking gain and a couple of other things conventional gain etc but still got it pitching up in very fast flight after i exit a turn.

I have reduced my pitch to 10 gone see how it flys with 10/10

my guess is you need more cyclic pitch not less collective pitch

10/10 is working good the pitching up thing is fixed had a few flights and im happy with it, still need some more flight time but it's getting there.

met Trev at DMHC and he had a fly helped me adjust a couple of settings mainly set up a couple of mixes ailiron and elevator to gain to smooth things out a little.

I need to set up a mix if poss to switch from gyro mode1 too 2 when i hit throttle hold, so i can play with mode two and try and make it friendly for landings any idea's ? , although i think the mix's may be a problem as the Aux channel is in negative for gain when in gyro mode 2 so the mix's will add gain, instead of reducing it.

Afraid I haven't got my head around the mixes in the 9x2. I'm still a futaba man at heart. I have the same situation with mine, when I solve it I'll let you know.

A 3D masters competitor flew mine at the weekend and seemed very impressed, so I'm going to stop fiddling with it now. Now if I could just fly it the way he did..........

Ok Chaps a few updates :

I was still getting balooning, pitching up occasionally out of loops and after fast circuits but after speaking to Rob at CSM, I increasing the cyclic pitch to 12 it's almost completely gone, but i still had a hint although it held it pretty well.
so ive just increased the setting again to test tomorrow 12 pitch and 13 cyclic's im gona have to be carfull with 12 pitch as this will bog but i miss the pop so I'm gone give it a try, and practice my collective control :P

Also thxs to Matt "Geegar i now have a mix so when i hit throttle hold it changes to gyro mode two, should be useful for taming down the settings and gain to allow for safer auto's with lower head speeds etc.

I'm keen to try this out on my raptor 50titan.
A Question though: I've used the quick UK head and the Trex600 head on it, obviously the main difference between the two is the flybar (over versus underslung) and therefore the height of the rotor disc. In your educated opinion which would be better/ more suited?
ps. Trex600 is about 25mm higher.
