  • Pirouette speed

    Hi all
The pirouette speed on my 600 N sport seems slow could anyone suggest why or how to speed it up? Im using a GY401 and 9251 Tail servo.
    Thanks
    Andy

Putting it simply... increase the endpoints in the TX. Rudder Channel.

The easy answer is - increase the rudder end points on your Tx - go over 100% if you need to.

The difficult answer is - the 9251 servo is not designed to work with the 401 gyro, although it will undoubtedly work to a certain extent. It was designed for the 502 gyro. The 9254 servo is the one that works with the 401 gyro.

Increasing the end points wont change the movement. If my memory serves me right thats what the little pot does on the top of the gyro.

Piro speed is NOT governed by how far the tail slider moves, it's controlled by the Tx end points - wind it up in 10% increments and see what difference it makes at the field.

Trust me, it'll make it go faster.
