trex 600le value

what would a fellow expect for an almost new trex 600le,its standard bar an mks tail servo,it was hovered at the club sunday for about a minute,just asking on behalf of someone else as their internet is down

To be honest he's probably better off splitting into bits and then sell the airframe only. A full helli won't give him anywhere near what he paid to put it in the air

Probably not a fair comparison, but a chap at our club recently bought a 600 LE 2nd hand from a well known model shop (i.e. not private). It's in great 'as new' condition, got all Align gear - servos, 3G system, LiPo, 2 in 1 etc, OS55 and Align pipe, Align flybarless blades. The whole bang-shoot is Align with a Specky receiver and looks to be as new. He paid about £800 for it I think.

I know and you know its worth more than £400 but you try selling it for more than that and you will be lucky to get any offers, especially nitro it just seems to be out of favour at the moment.

looks like it,allmost new,brand new more like,i wouldnt feel right offering 400 quid for it,allthough ive never had a nitro,more involved than first thought,too much time involved at the moment for the seller

I can get my hands on a Trex 600 le nitro flybarred Heli combo all electrics incl. Just needs receiver and engine I think. The kit isn't completely built yet and all electric still in the box. The frames have been put together. So brand new, never flown. I can get it for £360. I was wanting to buy a flybarless version but this seems like a bargain!?!? What does everyone think???????

If Gashead is selling a 700le @ £550, you can guestimate what a 600 will be worth :S

at the end of the day it is very difficult to put a value of anything at the moment we all know in our heads what something is worth, but it is rare that we will get that amount
it also depends where it is advertised, if it is on here then you are advertising to people that in the majority already have helis and so you are waiting for the right person to come along who is looking to change there heli or perhaps looking for an addition to the fleet
the BMFA website is just painful to use and i usually waste 1/2 hour trying to list one item and then get bored
Ebay is no doubt the best way to atract a large audience, but if you are going to sell on there then you have to be prepared to stump up more or less 14% of the final sale in fees and it works best if you start low and have faith in the "Bid jealosy Monster"
i recently tried to sell a 250 size heli twice for £175.00 on ebay as a Buy it now or make an offer with no takers or offers, i started an auction for £10 and low and behold it went for over £166 in the end !!!
as said above gashead is selling a 700le for £550, which when you look at it is ridiculous as a little while ago they would be fetching close to £700 and why is it still for sale, ????? (um maybe temptation sliding into my mind - NO MUST FIGHT IT) 600's be they LE or super NSP tend to be advertised for £450-£475, i'm not sure how many reach this or get knocked down to £400
so a LE with no engine or pipe and possible no govenor for £360 is not my idea of a bragain, when if i'm patient enough one will come up for sale with everything prob inc RX and i will only need to pay £50/60 more
