removing engine in 600

    Can do it by removing the carb, exhaust then 4 bolts to the engine. Out in 5 mins but you need the tools to get into the bolts - its on an angle. If you've got a good set of 'balls' this is the quickest but I find it harder to put back in like this.

      Like Mslaters post above and as previously posted.. I find it harder and awkward doing it your way (probably due to crap set of balls and not giving me enough angle).. thats why I take the hex out on half turns to stop scratching something.

      Not saying yours is wrong or crap, Its just a personal preference doing it this way.. half do it this way and half do it your way.

        That's the bit I referred to why would you take a ball hex in and out for a half turn? The method is whatever works best for you.

          Thanks for the replies, I will give the bottom plate removal a go and pick up some ball end hex keys at some point.

            I aggree tony, zaust off undo fan shroud screws remove thro linkage and fuel lines. And comes out a peice of ****
            I use long shank straight drivers down the side of fram to remove engine bolts from mounts. Don't need ball drivers.
