i know you sould not always go with price but which one is the best value for money. I am quite agressive but not that good.

Best value for money has to be the BeastX but the best is Vbar IMO.

As you say you are quite agressive then the Vbar will be better suited, again IMO

If you are on a budget then Beastx is your best choice.
If you want a tried and tested system then Vbar
If you want the fastest processing a 'go to level' bale out button the fastest controlled tail then go SK720

I now have four helis all fitted with SK720's

It seems to be very quiet in the TotalG forum, not sure if this is because it's crap and nobody uses it or is it because there very few isssues with it??

I like the clean installation of the TotalG/BeastX and Mini V-Bar in a single box design. I'm also tempted by the CGY750 but i'm currently running spektrum after making the change over a couple of years ago so it would mean moving back to Futaba and getting something like an 8FG Super!!

There is a rumour that an adapter cable for use with anything other than Futaba is due but when is anybody's guess!!

Just wondered is the TotalG really that bad or is there a reason why nobody seems to use it?

No I dont think its Cr*p at all its got the best tail of anything I have ever flown .
initially it was let down by P**S poor instructions but now there are video's on the TG website that help.
However no doubt about it V bar instructions are better.

Beast X is very good for the money but a less locked tail.

Others need to comment on the TG and hopefully that will help making a decision.

ive used 3g , beastx. v-bar and skookum sk720 and its very close between the sk720 and v-bar for me both are excelent units and both fly very well obviously the sk720 has a bail out feature if you want to use it and has a solid tail perhaps more so than the v-bar but tbh i would be more that happy using either of the units so i say both v-bar or skookum sk720

Beast X or V-BAR for you Lee.

I'm always a bit dubious of Align electronics and although people say the 3GX is good they said that about the 3G! Maybe in a few months after enough people have tested them.

If it were me I'd probably get the V-Bar as you know it will work, plus it will have good resale value if you don't like it.

Personally I like the BeastX. Great value for money. Whilst I've never flown a Vbar, I have no doubt it's better but I can't justify the extra price. I can't see it being all that much better than the Beastx to warrant the doubled cost. Plus the Vbar needs a laptop or the Vbar controller: theres at least another £100.

Thanks for all the posts dudes and dudess, it looks like for me it's between the Vbar anddddddddd i don't know beastx?? skookam i've not really seen but i know that frog used to use it.
I just liked the idea of the flybarless in a box (align) with the head but maybe thats not the way to go.

I just put beastX on my 600n and 500, carried on using the same blades, and carved the std heads - so it was about as cheap a change as is possible.
The 600n has been really nice from the word go.
the 500 has taken a bit more messing about to get there.
