I'm chasing an EVIL vibration on my virtually new 700 which I believe is seriously upsetting the V-Bar, and it seems like it may be the clutch. I'm suffering with a terrible but intermittent roll to the right, sometimes quite violent, so today we ran the spektrum analyser with the bluetooth dongle connected. At idle it was around 1100 (peak @ around 8000rpm), in the hover it was over 2000, and while tic-tocing it was peaking over 4000 (both of these @ around 15-16k rpm). I don't know if these are ballpark figures (albeit very high) for a 700. Has anyone ever run the spektrum analyser on their vbar 700?
Are the standard clutches known to be out of balance? If so, what options are there? I don't really want to go Quk as they are a very tight fit, and being that this is nearly new I don't much fancy my chances of getting it in there.
Anything else to do/check? The blueline sensor is mounted on the radio tray with a thin pad to the metal plate, then a thick futaba pad to the tray with a velcro strap loosely wrapped round it.
